What percent of guys get breast cancer?

I saw something online about men getting breast cancer and it really surprised me, I always thought it was only a women's disease. Now I'm curious, how common is it for guys to get breast cancer?

Honestly, breast cancer in men is rare, but it does happen. If anyone notices any unusual lumps or changes, please don't just ignore it thinking it's not possible for men. Better to get it checked by a doctor ASAP. While natural remedies are good for general health, for something serious like this, professional medical advice is a must.

It can be really hard to even think about, especially for men. When I heard about a distant relative getting it, it felt very scary and isolating, like 'this shouldn't happen to men'. It's important to remember that health issues don't discriminate. Support is important no matter who is affected.

Dude, I actually didn't even know guys could get breast cancer until a documentary last year. It's super rare na? Like, people only talk about it for women. But yeah, makes sense that it can happen to anyone. Good to know about these things!

Namaste everyone. My friend's neighbour's son, he had some small problem there, and doctor said it was very unusual for a man. It can happen, but very few. So if anything feels not right, just show it to the doctor, don't keep it secret. Better safe than sorry, always.

I haven't personally known any man who got breast cancer, but I've read about it sometimes. It's not something we hear about often in our families. I always believe in listening to your body; if something feels off, just go see a proper doctor.

My family doctor once explained this to me when we were discussing general cancer screenings. He said that male breast cancer accounts for less than 1% of all breast cancers, so it's quite rare. But he stressed that men also have breast tissue, so they can get it. Early detection is key, just like for women. He told me to always be aware of any changes in the chest area.
