What part of arm hurts heart attack?

My mother is getting older and sometimes complains of arm pain. I’m always worried about heart issues. Could you tell me what part of the arm hurts during a heart attack?

Arrey, is umar mein toh poori body hi dukhti rehti hai. But on a serious note, they say it's mostly the left arm, like a heavy feeling. Women sometimes feel it in both arms or even just the back. If you have any doubt, don't delay, go see a doctor. We're not getting younger!

Bhai, usually it's the left arm that hurts, sometimes the pain radiates to the jaw, neck, or back. It's not a sharp, stabbing pain but more like a squeezing, tightness, or a dull ache. If you feel something like this, don't think twice, go to the nearest hospital.

Don't just rely on bits of info you pick up online for something as serious as a heart attack. Symptoms can vary greatly from person to person. If you're experiencing pain or discomfort that concerns you, the only reliable advice is to see a doctor or go to the emergency room immediately. Don't self-diagnose based on incomplete info.

From a fitness perspective, sometimes we get muscle pulls or cramps that feel similar. But a heart attack arm pain is different, usually a deep ache or numbness, often in the left arm, accompanied by chest discomfort. Regular exercise and a balanced diet can reduce risk, but if you have symptoms, rush to the hospital, no gym can fix that.

For me, it was a crushing sensation in my left arm that radiated to my shoulder and up to my neck, along with severe chest pressure. It was unlike any other pain I'd felt. The minute you feel something unusual, particularly with chest discomfort, don't waste a second, call for help immediately.

Normally, for arm pains, I'd suggest a hot oil massage or some warm water compress. But if it's a severe, unusual pain in the left arm, or spreads to your jaw or back, along with breathlessness or chest tightness, please don't experiment with home remedies. That's a sign to see a doctor immediately, don't delay even a minute.

I totally get why this question is important, the fear of a heart attack can be overwhelming. While the left arm pain is common, some people, especially women, might experience pain in the right arm, or even the back, neck, or jaw. The key is if it feels unusual and persistent, along with other symptoms, seek medical help fast.
