What pain reliever can i take with spironolactone?

My dermatologist prescribed spironolactone for my acne, and it's been helping, but I occasionally get period cramps. I want to know which pain reliever is safe to take along with spironolactone for my cramps.

This is a good question. Always best to check with your doctor for med interactions.

Spironolactone is a diuretic, so you need to be really careful about kidney function. NSAIDs like ibuprofen are generally a no-go. Stick to what your doctor says, or ask for a safe alternative like paracetamol.

With spironolactone, certain pain relievers can really mess with your electrolytes and kidneys. Please, please get this checked with your doctor or pharmacist. It's not something to guess about.

Bhai, jab bhi koi nayi dawa leni ho, especially when you are already taking a regular one, always ask your doctor. They know best about what can mix and what cannot. Don't take risk with your health.

I'm not on spironolactone, but I always make sure my doc knows all my meds before suggesting anything for pain. Sometimes, even light exercise or stretching, if allowed by your doctor, can help with mild aches without needing pills.
