What pain medication is best for back pain?

I have been suffering from chronic lower back pain for the past few months, especially after a long day at work. I've tried a few things, but it keeps coming back. What pain medication is best for back pain?

Back pain can be really debilitating, especially when you have to run after kids all day. For typical muscular back pain, a good muscle relaxant cream or balm can help, along with heat application. For oral meds, my doctor usually suggests a short course of a simple painkiller like ibuprofen or paracetamol. But if it's severe or ongoing, definitely see an orthopaedic specialist to figure out the root cause.

For back pain, while apps can help track posture or exercise, for actual pain relief, it depends on the cause. For muscle strains, a topical pain relief gel (like diclofenac) or a short course of oral NSAIDs (ibuprofen) often helps. But if it's persistent, or causes numbness/tingling, it's definitely time to see a doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment. Don't just rely on pills.

Oh, back pain! It's like a constant battle, isn't it? I've tried so many different painkillers, both oral and topical, but the relief is always temporary. Does anyone else feel like it's a never-ending cycle and these medicines just mask the problem? I'm always worried about relying too much on them.

Yaar, back pain is just the worst, especially after sitting for long hours. Actually, for temporary relief, a good pain relief balm like Volini or Iodex works wonders. Oral-wise, your regular ibuprofen or even a muscle relaxant can help, but don't just keep taking them. If it's persistent, you need to see a doctor, mere bhai.

Back pain? Oh, that's my daily companion now! 😂 For me, a good hot water bag and a strong topical pain relief gel sometimes help me survive the day. As for pills, I usually just take a paracetamol or ibuprofen if it gets too much. But honestly, getting up and stretching a bit every hour helps more than any pill, especially at my age.

My orthopaedic doctor explained that for acute back pain, over-the-counter NSAIDs (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs) like ibuprofen or naproxen are often effective for reducing both pain and inflammation. He also mentioned that topical pain relief creams or patches can be used for localized relief. For chronic or severe pain, they often consider muscle relaxants or other prescribed medications, combined with physical therapy. Self-diagnosis is not good for back pain.
