For kidney disease, it's about managing phosphorus and potassium, which are high in many nuts. Similar to how I manage my BP with diet, nuts like almonds, cashews, peanuts, and walnuts need to be limited. Your doctor will give you precise limits based on your kidney function.

At leading hospitals, for kidney disease, they provide a very clear list. Generally, most nuts are high in phosphorus and potassium, which are harmful for compromised kidneys. This includes almonds, walnuts, cashews, peanuts. It's absolutely crucial to ask your nephrologist for the exact limits and a personalized diet plan based on your stage of kidney disease.

With kidney imbalances, it's vital to support the body. Nuts, while generally healthy, are high in phosphorus and potassium, which need to be controlled in kidney disease. So, almonds, cashews, walnuts, and peanuts are often advised to be limited. Focus on gentle foods and mindful eating to ease the system.

As a vegetarian, nuts are a big part of my diet, but with kidney disease, it's a different story. Almost all nuts are high in phosphorus and potassium, which are restricted. So, almonds, walnuts, cashews, and peanuts are usually on the 'avoid' list. Always get a diet chart from a nephrologist.

I totally get how confusing diet restrictions can be, especially with kidney issues. For kidney disease, most nuts are restricted because they are high in phosphorus and potassium. So, things like almonds, walnuts, cashews, and peanuts usually need to be avoided or severely limited. It's tough, but important for kidney health.
