What number is a fever?

My little daughter is feeling warm and I'm not sure if it's a fever or just normal body warmth. What temperature reading actually counts as a fever in children?

Generally, anything above 99.5-100 degrees Fahrenheit orally is considered a fever. But if you have any other symptoms or feel really unwell, please consult a doctor. My experience with PCOS taught me that it's always better to be cautious with health symptoms.

Oh, I always get anxious about fevers! Usually, it's considered a fever if it's 100°F (37.8°C) or higher. But sometimes even a low-grade temperature can make you feel awful, right? Just keep an eye on other symptoms and if it's persistent, definitely see a doctor.

At the good hospitals, they usually consider 100.4°F (38°C) or higher as a fever, especially for adults. However, even a lower temperature can be significant if you have other symptoms. Always best to ask your doctor what threshold they use and when to worry.

While my focus is usually on diet, I know a fever is generally when your body temperature goes above 100°F (37.8°C). Staying hydrated with water and clear broths is important during a fever, along with consulting a doctor if it's high or lasts long.

When your body warms up, it is fighting something. Generally, above 100 degrees Fahrenheit is considered a fever. Take rest, drink warm water, and trust in your body's ability to heal. If it is high, seek a doctor, but always maintain a calm spirit.

Bro, for me, anything over 99.5°F (around 37.5°C) already feels like a fever. But generally, docs say 100°F and above is proper fever. If it's high, like 102+, or lasts more than a day, then definitely visit a clinic.
