What not to eat with diabetes 2?

My father was recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, and we are trying to adjust his diet. It's a bit confusing with all the different advice out there. Can someone tell me what foods he should definitely not eat with diabetes 2?

For diabetes type 2, my mother always said no to all sweet things and to limit rice. My doctor also advises the same, along with strictly avoiding processed snacks and sugary drinks. It's about mindful eating and listening to your body, under doctor's guidance of course.

I reversed my type 2 diabetes with diet and exercise. The biggest 'not to eats' for me were all added sugars (sweets, sodas), white rice, white bread, and any processed junk. It's hard initially, but seriously, stick to whole, unprocessed foods, and you'll see a huge difference.

Beta, for Type 2 diabetes, you must absolutely avoid all sugar. No mithai, no sweet drinks. And eat less white rice. Stick to whole wheat roti and lots of green vegetables. Some bitter things like karela are good, but don't forget your doctor's medicines, they are most important.

I totally get it, managing Type 2 diabetes can be challenging with food choices. You absolutely want to avoid all sugary beverages, desserts, and anything with refined sugar. Also, processed foods and refined grains (like white bread and pasta) should be severely limited as they cause rapid sugar spikes.

Simple for Type 2 diabetes: no sugar, no sugary drinks, no processed junk food. Limit white carbs like white rice and maida. Eat more fiber, more vegetables. It's not rocket science, just discipline.

As someone with PCOS, I understand how crucial diet is. For type 2 diabetes, you absolutely must avoid all added sugars, sugary beverages, and refined carbohydrates like white bread. Don't be overconfident and think 'just a little bit won't hurt'. It really does impact your blood sugar and overall health.
