What not to eat in thyroid?

I was recently diagnosed with thyroid issues, and the doctor said diet plays a role. I'm trying to understand what foods I should completely stay away from or reduce significantly. What should I avoid eating with a thyroid condition?

For thyroid, people often talk about diet, but exercise is key too! Don't just rely on food restrictions. But for diet, avoid excessive amounts of goitrogenic foods if raw (like cabbage, cauliflower, soy) if you have hypothyroidism. And processed junk food is a universal no-no. Keep walking, it helps!

It's totally normal to feel anxious about what to eat with a thyroid condition, I went through that too. Please don't restrict too much unnecessarily without medical advice. Generally, highly processed foods, too much sugar, and gluten (if you're sensitive) are often advised against. But don't let it stress you out too much.

I had thyroid issues, and what really helped was cutting out gluten and dairy for a while, based on my doctor's advice. Also, no processed foods or sugary drinks. It felt restrictive initially, but the energy boost was worth it. Definitely talk to your doctor, but a clean diet helps a lot.

Ugh, thyroid can be a real buzzkill for foodies! 😔 I try to avoid overdoing things like soy, raw cruciferous veggies, and of course, all the yummy fried and sugary stuff. It's hard to resist sometimes, but my body thanks me later. Everything in moderation, maybe?

For thyroid, the main thing is to avoid fancy, expensive 'superfoods' that promise miracles. Just focus on cutting out heavily processed foods, sugary items, and too much maida. Simple, home-cooked food works best. And remember your medicines, they are important.

My health tracker app often flags things that can affect thyroid. Key is to avoid anything that causes inflammation – so refined sugars, unhealthy fats, and processed foods are big no-nos. Also, check for gluten and dairy sensitivity, as some apps suggest tracking that for thyroid health.

For thyroid, it's best to avoid all those packaged foods and drinks, and anything with too much sugar. Try to eat fresh food from ghar. Some say raw cabbage and soy are not good, so maybe cook them well. But if you have serious symptoms or fluctuations, please see a doctor, don't just rely on home remedies.

Please, for thyroid, don't just randomly cut out entire food groups based on internet articles. There's a lot of misinformation. Always discuss dietary restrictions, especially for things like soy or cruciferous vegetables, with your endocrinologist. Blanket bans can be counterproductive.

Hello everyone. I just got diagnosed with thyroid. So, should I completely stop eating things like cauliflower and broccoli? Or is it okay if I cook them properly? I'm a bit confused. Thank you.

As someone managing BP, I know diet is crucial. For thyroid, definitely avoid excessive amounts of processed junk, high-sugar items, and maybe reduce raw goitrogenic veggies if your doctor suggests. Regular checkups for both are a must, along with a healthy lifestyle.

I get so worried about everything I eat now because of my thyroid. Is it just me, or do you guys also feel like you have to research every single food item? I've heard soy is bad, but then others say it's fine in moderation. What's the real truth?

My friend has thyroid and she basically avoids all the junk food we eat, like pizzas, burgers, and sugary drinks. Also, she's careful with soy milk and some raw veggies. It sucks, but she feels better. Definitely ask a doc for specific advice tho.

Beta, with thyroid, it's important to be patient. Don't worry too much, but be disciplined. Avoid all those outside foods that are full of sugar and chemicals. And listen to your doctor for medicines. Simple daal-roti-sabzi is always best, reduces inflammation too.
