What not to do with sacroiliac joint pain?

I've been diagnosed with sacroiliac joint pain, and it's making even simple tasks difficult. My physical therapist gave me exercises, but I'm worried about doing something wrong. What are the key things I should avoid doing to manage this pain better?

Sacroiliac joint pain, oh I know that struggle! Do NOT sit for long periods on soft couches. Also, avoid crossing your legs. For exercise, no heavy squats or lunges that twist your lower back without a physio's go-ahead. These things make it much worse.

My doctor told me very clearly for SI joint pain: avoid any activities that involve asymmetrical loading of the pelvis, like carrying a heavy bag on one shoulder or standing with all your weight on one leg for too long. Also, high-impact activities like running or jumping are a big no-no initially. He said it's all about stability.

Oh, SI joint pain, the bane of my existence! Don't try to be a contortionist, okay? No weird stretches that feel like you're tearing something. And seriously, no pretending you're a weightlifter if your back is screaming. Listen to your body, it's not trying to prank you!

It's generally advised to avoid activities that put direct stress on the SI joint, such as prolonged sitting or standing, heavy lifting, or high-impact exercises. Movements that involve twisting the torso or uneven weight distribution can also exacerbate the pain. Always consult a physiotherapist or doctor for a tailored plan and specific 'don'ts'.

Yaar, for SI joint pain, actually, you should avoid any sudden twisting or jerking movements. And no sleeping on your stomach, that puts extra pressure. Thoda mindful rehna padega with movements, nahi toh aur dard hoga.

For SI joint pain, definitely don't push through pain during any workout. No deep squats, deadlifts, or twisting ab exercises without consulting a specialist. But if your doc allows, gentle walking and core stability exercises can actually help, just do them carefully.

Bhaiyya, for this pain, please don't lift very heavy things. And when you sit, don't sit with one leg up or crooked. My neighbour had this, she just rested and did light walking, it helped. But for proper advice, doctor is best, haan?
