What not to do after tb skin test?

I had a TB skin test yesterday for my college admission. The nurse just said 'don't scratch it' but I'm wondering if there are other things I shouldn't do, like get it wet or put cream on it? Want to make sure it's accurate!

I had to get this done for my college admission. Just make sure you don't scratch or rub the arm where they did the test, even if it feels a little itchy. Also, avoid putting any band-aids or creams on it because it can mess up the reading.

I know how stressful it is to stare at that little bump and worry if it's getting bigger. Just try to keep your mind off it and don't press or pinch the skin to 'test' it yourself. It is completely normal for it to look a bit red, just let the doctors handle the reading.

Haan na, that small injection spot can get really annoying. Don't worry, but bas use scratch mat karna aur paani se thoda door rakhna bathering ke time. Us par koi cream ya antiseptic lagane ki bilkul galti mat karna.

When I got my test done, the hospital staff explicitly advised me not to cover the injection site with any bandage or sleeve pressure. If you have any questions about mild swelling, please call your testing clinic directly rather than looking for answers online.

If the spot swells up significantly, please don't just ignore it or assume it's a normal allergy. I delayed showing a strong reaction to my doctor and ended up delaying my actual diagnosis. Get it checked and read by the clinical staff on the exact day they told you.

Set a calendar reminder for your follow-up reading immediately. Do not apply any lotions, perfumes, or sanitizers near the test spot. Keeping it completely dry and clean is the most efficient way to ensure you don't have to repeat the process.

I've had this test twice for work visas. Do not scrub that arm during your shower or apply any harsh soap directly on it. Most importantly, don't miss your appointment 48 to 72 hours later; if you miss the window, you have to get the needle all over again.
