What medicine is good for back pain?

Been having this persistent dull ache in my lower back since last month. It's getting really annoying, especially after sitting for long hours at work. Can anyone suggest a good medicine for back pain?

Back pain is such a mood spoiler! 😭 I usually rely on a hot water bag and a good pain relief gel for quick comfort. If it's really bad, please ask a doctor for a safe muscle relaxant instead of struggling with it!

I have to manage high blood pressure, so I cannot take standard pain relief tablets like diclofenac because they can spike BP. Instead of pills, I focus on light daily walking and posture correction as advised by my doctor. Please consult a physician before popping any painkiller, especially if you have other health conditions.

For temporary relief from everyday back stiffness, a warm compress and a gentle ointment work wonders. However, if the pain radiates down your legs, it could be a nerve issue. Please avoid taking strong painkillers without a proper medical checkup.

I spent months dealing with lower back pain from sitting at my desk all day. For me, investing in an ergonomic chair and doing basic hamstring stretches did more than any pill ever did. I prefer avoiding medicines unless a doctor absolutely insists on them.

I pulled a muscle in my back last month while deadlifting at the gym. My doctor put me on a short course of muscle relaxants and told me to rest completely for a week. Don't try to push through the pain, just get a professional to look at it.

Welcome to adulthood, where a single wrong sneeze can throw your back out for three whole days! Don't stress, just use a heating pad and act like royalty while others do your chores. If it stays bad, let a doctor prescribe the heavy-duty stuff.

Trying to find a comfortable sleeping position with a sore lower back is an olympic sport. I'm so tired today because my back kept waking me up all night. Honestly, save yourself the sleepless nights and get a proper prescription from a doc.

I went to a specialist at an orthopedic hospital for my chronic back pain last year. They did a thorough physical assessment before prescribing any targeted muscle relaxants or physiotherapy. It is always best to ask your doctor clearly instead of taking over-the-counter painkillers.

Sitting in local trains for hours gives me bad backaches, ho na. I usually apply a warm compress at night and it feels so much better. Taking tablets daily is not good for stomach, so avoid it as much as possible.

My lower back has been hurting constantly for a week now, especially when I try to bend down. Does anyone else get super worried that it might be a slipped disc or something serious? I think I need to see a doctor soon to clear my mind.

Bro, slouching over my laptop during exam week absolutely wrecks my lower back. I just apply some pain spray and lie flat on the floor for 15 minutes. Honestly, don't start popping random pills for it, just fix your posture first!

Don't rush to get expensive MRI scans right away for normal back pain. A basic consultation with a government hospital physiotherapist is very affordable and they can guide you on the right exercises. Usually, simple generic paracetamol or a cheap muscle relaxant is all they prescribe initially.
