What medicine brings down a fever?

My wife has a fever of 102 degrees and is feeling really weak. She's tried some home remedies but they aren't working. Can you tell me which medicine helps in bringing fever down effectively?

See, for fever, usually we just take a paracetamol tablet, like a Dolo or Crocin. Take it with enough water. Also, do a cold compress on the forehead and drink lots of fluids. If it's very high or not going down, then definitely see a doctor, don't delay.

As someone with thyroid issues, I'm always advised to be careful with any medication. For a fever, generally paracetamol is safe, but always double-check with your doctor, especially if you have other health conditions or are on regular medication. It's better to be safe and get a proper diagnosis.

Bro, for fever, everyone just pops a Dolo 650, right? That's what we usually do. Works pretty quickly to reduce the temp. But don't overdo it, and if it's too bad, get proper medical advice.

When I have a fever, I usually take a paracetamol. Dolo 650 is quite common. It helps for sure. Also, resting a lot and drinking ORS or coconut water helps me recover faster. If it stays high for more than a day, I'd suggest seeing a doctor.

I can only share what my family does. We usually take a standard paracetamol tablet whenever someone gets a fever. It helps bring down the temperature. But for serious advice, a doctor is the best person to ask.

It's generally paracetamol, but I wouldn't recommend any specific medicine without knowing your full health history. As someone with PCOS, I've learned that what works for one person might not be right for another. Always check with a doctor before taking anything, just to be safe.
