What medicine breaks a fever?

My little one, Riya, has a high fever since morning and is feeling quite restless. We gave her a cold compress but it's not really helping. What kind of medicine can we give her to bring it down fast?

For fever, often simple paracetamol works, but check the dose. When I had high BP, my doctor was always careful about what meds I took. So, if you have any existing conditions, it's best to consult a doctor first, even for a fever.

Most common thing for fever is paracetamol, like Crocin or Dolo. Just make sure you follow the dosage instructions given on the pack or by your doctor. Don't take too much. Keep yourself hydrated, that's also important.

For fever, I usually just take a paracetamol tablet, like a Dolo 650. It helps bring down the temperature. Also, sponge bathing with lukewarm water and drinking lots of fluids really helps me feel better. But if it's very high or doesn't go away, best to see a doc.

As someone managing diabetes, I'm always careful about any medicine. For fever, usually, basic meds like paracetamol are common, but it's important to be sure it doesn't interact with any other medication or condition. Always best to ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Arre bhai, fever ke liye toh sabse common Dolo 650 ya Crocin hai na. Ek le lo, thodi der mein theek ho jaata hai. Par haan, agar zyada tej hai ya nahi utar raha toh seedha doc ke paas jaana.

Haan, mostly we just take a paracetamol like Dolo for fever. Mere ghar pe toh yahi chalti hai. But if it's a very high fever or lasts for days, definitely go to the doctor, don't just keep taking medicine.

When I get a fever, I rest a lot and hydrate well. For medication, a mild dose of paracetamol is generally used to reduce the temperature. But remember, fever is your body fighting, so don't suppress it immediately. Consult a doctor for proper guidance, especially if it's persistent.
