What level of pain causes nausea?

I've been having really bad period cramps lately, sometimes so intense that I feel nauseous and even throw up. It makes me wonder, is there a certain level of pain, generally speaking, that is so severe it starts to trigger nausea as a bodily reaction?

Hey! So, nausea from pain is actually pretty common. It's often your body's way of reacting to severe discomfort, especially if it's sudden or in the abdomen. There isn't a specific 'level' because everyone's pain threshold is different, but generally, moderate to severe pain can trigger it. Hydrate well and try to rest.

Oh, that's a tough one! Pain and nausea can totally go hand-in-hand. 🤢 It really depends on the person and the type of pain. For some, even a bad headache can do it! Just try to stay calm and maybe sip some ginger tea if it's mild. Get well soon! 🤗

Please be careful. I once ignored severe back pain that also made me nauseous, thinking it was just 'bad pain'. Turns out it was something much more serious that needed immediate attention. If your pain is causing nausea, it's a strong signal your body is sending. Don't wait, see a doctor.

My doctor at Breach Candy Hospital always says that pain tolerance varies wildly. What causes nausea for one person might just be mild discomfort for another. The key is to explain your symptoms clearly to a medical professional. If pain is severe enough to make you nauseous, it warrants a doctor's visit, no question.

Interesting question! My fitness app has a pain tracker, and I've noticed a correlation too. When my pain level hits a certain intensity (usually 7-8 out of 10 for me), nausea often kicks in. It's not a universal metric, but tracking your own symptoms might help you identify your personal trigger point.

Oh my god, I get so anxious when pain causes nausea! My mind immediately goes to the worst-case scenario. It's truly scary. While everyone's threshold is different, if it's enough to make you nauseous, it's definitely significant. I hope you're okay, try to distract yourself a bit too.

Hi, I'm new here. Is it really true that pain can make you feel sick? I always thought nausea was only from food or stomach issues. Is it like a migraine kind of nausea, or something different? I'm just curious.
