What level of crp indicates cancer?

My uncle recently had some tests, and his CRP levels were high. The doctor mentioned it could be due to inflammation, but my cousin is worried it might be something more serious, like cancer. Could a high CRP level actually point to cancer?

CRP (C-reactive protein) is a general marker of inflammation, not specific to cancer. While chronically elevated CRP can be seen in some cancers, it's also high in infections, autoimmune diseases, or injuries. So there's no specific CRP level that *indicates* cancer. If your CRP is high, get it thoroughly investigated by a doctor for safety, to find the root cause.

CRP (C-reactive protein) is a marker of general inflammation in the body. Normal levels are typically below 1-3 mg/L, but these can rise significantly due to various reasons like infections, injuries, or chronic inflammatory diseases. While some cancers can cause elevated CRP, it's not used as a primary cancer indicator. It just signals that *something* is causing inflammation, and your doctor needs to investigate.

CRP is usually linked to inflammation. I try to keep my inflammation low with a good diet and regular workouts. While some studies show very high, persistent CRP can be associated with higher cancer risk or presence, it's not a direct diagnostic tool. A normal level is generally below 1-3 mg/L. If it's way higher, it needs medical follow-up, not just diet changes.

I once ignored some persistent body aches, and my CRP was quite high when I finally got checked. It turned out to be an infection, not cancer, but it taught me a lesson. CRP is just a sign of inflammation, so a very high level (like over 10 mg/L or even higher) means something is wrong, and it *could* be cancer, but it needs many more tests. Please get it properly checked.

Oh, CRP! My body's always inflamed from something, usually stress or chasing after my kids! Normal is usually below 1-3 mg/L. If it's really high, like 10 or 20, it means your body is fighting something big. It could be cancer, or just a bad flu, or maybe I just ate too much oily food. But seriously, very high persistent CRP means a trip to the doc, no jokes there.
