What labs check liver function?

Someone in my family has been feeling quite unwell, and the doctor suggested checking their liver. What are the common lab tests that help check liver function? Just trying to understand.

For checking the liver, you need to get an LFT (Liver Function Test) done. While home remedies like papaya and amla are great for digestion, you must rely on this standard blood test to know the actual status of your liver enzymes.

I totally get it, trying to figure out all these medical tests can feel so overwhelming. The main test is called the Liver Function Test (LFT), which looks at your enzymes and bilirubin. Please take care of yourself, and I hope everything goes well.

I had fatty liver issues last year, and we used the LFT blood panel to track my recovery. Make sure you fast for at least 10 hours before giving your blood sample to get the most accurate enzyme readings. It's a very standard test, so stay relaxed.

Actually, it's just called LFT, yaar. It is a basic blood test that checks your SGPT, SGOT, and bilirubin levels. Just book it online from any lab, they usually send the report by evening.

When my son had a severe stomach infection, the pediatrician ordered an LFT to make sure his liver function was normal. It's a simple, quick blood draw and gave us a lot of peace of mind. I highly recommend getting it done to be sure.
