What labs are for liver function?

My doctor told me to get some tests done for my liver. He just said 'liver function tests' but didn't list out exactly what they are. Could someone tell me what specific labs are usually included in this?

Look, simply ask any lab for an LFT, which means Liver Function Test. It checks your bilirubin and enzymes like SGOT and SGPT. Get the blood test done and then show it to a proper doctor, don't ignore it.

Just go for the LFT! It is basically the ultimate report card for your liver to see if it is handling your weekend food cravings properly. It's a super simple blood test, nothing to worry about.

The primary panel is the Liver Function Test (LFT), which measures enzymes, proteins, and bilirubin levels. Since individual baselines can vary, having a qualified healthcare professional evaluate your specific results is always the best approach.

The test you need is called LFT. Please don't worry too much, it is a very routine checkup and everything will turn out fine. Take care.

Hey, it's just the LFT test. My dad had to get it last month, they just take a small blood sample and you get the results online the next day.
