What kind of hernia causes back pain?

My father has been complaining about lower back pain for a while, and the doctor mentioned it might be related to a hernia. We're trying to figure out which specific type of hernia could cause back pain like his.

Oh, back pain can be so confusing! I always worry about every little ache. For hernia causing back pain, it could be a disc herniation in your spine, sometimes called a slipped disc. Please get it checked by a doctor, don't ignore it like I sometimes do.

Hey! Don't stress too much about it, but generally, when people talk about hernia causing back pain, they're referring to a herniated disc in the spine. You know, where the soft cushion between your vertebrae bulges out. Go see a doc, they'll sort it out!

For back pain related to a hernia, it's most likely a herniated disc in the spine. You'll need to see an orthopaedic surgeon or a neurosurgeon, they can confirm with an MRI. Don't waste time, get it diagnosed properly to get back to work quickly.

I really struggled emotionally when I had persistent back pain and didn't know what it was. A herniated disc, or 'slipped disc', is a common one that causes radiating back pain. It's okay to feel overwhelmed, but please consult a good orthopaedic doctor.

I always try natural remedies first for small aches. But for back pain that sounds like a hernia, especially a slipped disc, you really need to see a doctor. That's not something to treat at home. They might recommend physiotherapy or other treatments.

Beta, if your back is paining because of a hernia, it's usually something called a 'slipped disc' in the spine. Sometimes warm compresses help a little, but for this kind of pain, it is best to go to a bone doctor, an orthopaedic specialist. They will tell you what is truly happening inside.

Hmm, for back pain attributed to a hernia, the most common culprit is a herniated disc in the lumbar spine. It presses on nerves and causes that radiating pain. An orthopaedic doctor would be the best person to consult for diagnosis and treatment options like physiotherapy or medication.
