What kind of doctor treats sleep apnea?

My wife says I snore very loudly and often stop breathing in my sleep, so she thinks I might have sleep apnea. I need to get this checked out properly. What kind of doctor treats sleep apnea?

I just got diagnosed and treated for sleep apnea! It was a game-changer. You need to see a 'sleep specialist'. They are usually pulmonologists or ENTs who have specialized in sleep medicine. They'll do a sleep study and recommend things like a CPAP machine. Seriously, get it checked, your quality of life will improve so much!

Sleep apnea sounds so scary, especially with all the snoring and stopping breathing! Is it a pulmonologist or an ENT? I always get confused. Has anyone else felt super anxious about getting a diagnosis for sleep issues?

Sleep apnea, huh? So you're basically giving your bed partner nightly heart attacks! For that, you need a sleep specialist, usually an ENT or a pulmonologist. They'll help you breathe better, so you can snore peacefully (or not at all!) and stop scaring everyone around you. Good luck!

Sleep apnea can seriously affect your energy levels. For diagnosis and treatment, you'll need a sleep specialist, often a pulmonologist or ENT. Losing weight through regular exercise, like brisk walking, can sometimes help improve it too, but always after consulting your doctor.

Sleep apnea definitely needs proper attention. You'd typically see a sleep specialist, who might be a pulmonologist or an ENT doctor with special training. With PCOS, other health issues can sometimes pop up, so it's always best to get a specialist's opinion rather than guessing. Take care!

Sleep apnea can affect your overall health, including BP. For my BP, I have regular checkups and manage lifestyle. For sleep apnea, you should see a sleep specialist. They can identify the problem and suggest a solution, which can indirectly help your BP too. Don't ignore it.
