What kind of doctor do you go to for arthritis?

My mother has been complaining about joint pain for months now, and it's getting worse. We suspect it could be arthritis, but we are confused about which specialist to visit. Can anyone tell me what kind of doctor do you go to for arthritis?

For arthritis, you generally see a rheumatologist. They're the specialists for joint and connective tissue diseases. Your GP can refer you, or you can look for one directly.

You need to see a rheumatologist for arthritis. They specialize in autoimmune diseases and joint inflammation. Don't waste time seeing a general physician for long, get referred.

I tried so many massages and pain balms thinking it was just muscle ache, but later my family doctor said it looked like arthritis. He told me to see a rheumatologist. They can properly diagnose it and give you the right treatment plan. Please go soon.

My father has arthritis, and he's been seeing a rheumatologist for many years now. They manage his pain and medication. So from our experience, that's the doctor for it.

A rheumatologist is the specialist for arthritis. Along with their guidance, gentle yoga and pranayama, if suitable for your condition, can also provide some comfort. But always listen to your doctor first.
