What juice is good for kidney stones?

My brother just passed a kidney stone, and the doctor said he should increase his fluid intake. Are there any specific juices that are particularly good for preventing kidney stones? He wants to try and avoid getting them again.

For kidney stones, adequate fluid intake is crucial, primarily water. Certain juices can be beneficial, particularly lemon juice diluted in water, as the citrate can help prevent calcium stone formation. Pomegranate juice is also sometimes recommended. However, it's paramount to consult a urologist or nephrologist to understand the type of stone you have and get personalized dietary advice, as some juices might worsen certain stone types.

Hey there! For kidney stones, a lot of people swear by lemon juice mixed in water throughout the day – the citric acid helps. Also, apple cider vinegar in water is a popular one, but taste is an issue for some! Remember to stay really well hydrated with plain water too. These are generally helpful, but a doctor's advice on your specific stone type is essential.

When my uncle had kidney stones, his doctor told him to drink a lot of water. Apart from that, he used to drink a lot of nimbu pani (lemon water) without sugar. He also had a lot of barley water. I can't say if it works for everyone, but these were things he found helpful and his doctor approved.

For kidney stones, lots of water is most important. From natural remedies, lemon juice in warm water is very popular, as is basil (tulsi) juice. Some people also drink horse gram soup or juice. But please, if the pain is severe or you feel unwell, always see a doctor immediately, don't just rely on home remedies.

Oh, kidney stones are very painful, isn't it? My mother-in-law always says to drink plenty of tender coconut water and a lot of water with lime juice. It helps to flush out. Also, some people drink horse gram water. But for a proper solution, it's always best to follow what the doctor advises after checking your stone type. Family advice is good, but doctors know best.

If you have kidney stones, it's very important to be careful with juices, especially if you also have diabetes. Many fruit juices are high in sugar. My doctor suggested plain water, and if any juice, then very diluted lemon water with no added sugar. Pomegranate juice is sometimes mentioned, but again, check the sugar content and consult your doctor or a dietician for what's safe for your condition.

I'm so scared of getting kidney stones, they sound excruciating. I've heard conflicting things about juices. Some say apple juice is good, others say it's bad because of oxalates. It's so confusing! Has anyone here found a juice that genuinely helped them without any side effects or making things worse?
