What is tropic of cancer and tropic of capricorn?

My daughter came home from school asking about the 'Tropic of Cancer and Tropic of Capricorn' after her science class. She was curious if they relate to anything in health or environment. What are the Tropic of Cancer and Tropic of Capricorn?

These are actually geographical lines of latitude on Earth, not medical conditions. The Tropic of Cancer is at 23.5 degrees North of the equator, and the Tropic of Capricorn is at 23.5 degrees South. Since this is a geography question, there is no medical concern here at all.

This is a basic geography topic, not related to health. The Tropic of Cancer is the northern latitude line and the Tropic of Capricorn is the southern one, marking the boundaries of the tropics. If you are looking for medical advice, please post the actual symptoms or clinical terms.

I agree with the others. These are just imaginary latitude lines on Earth, with the Tropic of Cancer passing right through India. Nothing to do with health or oncology!

It looks like you might have accidentally posted a geography school question on a health platform. The Tropic of Cancer and Capricorn are lines of latitude. If you meant to ask about cancer screening or actual symptoms, please consult a medical doctor instead of searching online.

Haha, this sounds like my high school geography test! These are just the lines of latitude on Earth, with the Tropic of Cancer dividing India. Nothing medical here—it just makes me think of all the tropical fruits like mangoes we get to eat in this zone!
