What is the worst pain a human can experience femur?

My neighbour broke his femur bone recently and he said it was the most unbearable pain of his life. I've heard broken bones are bad, but is a broken femur truly one of the worst pains a human can experience?

Breaking a femur, especially the main thigh bone, is considered one of the most agonizing bone breaks because it's such a large, weight-bearing bone. I once delayed getting a persistent knee pain checked, thinking it was just muscle soreness, and it worsened significantly. Don't take any severe bone pain lightly, please get it checked immediately.

Oh my god, just reading 'femur' and 'worst pain' makes me cringe and feel anxious! I always imagine the worst scenarios with bones. I've heard femur fractures are incredibly painful, especially considering it's the longest and strongest bone. The thought of it gives me chills. Hope no one here ever has to experience it.

Breaking a femur bone sounds absolutely terrifying and excruciating. I once sprained my ankle really badly and that was enough to make me cry. I can't even imagine something like this. Has anyone here personally known someone who broke their femur? What did they say about the pain?

The worst pain? Probably when you accidentally drop your phone on your face while scrolling in bed! Haha, kidding. But breaking your femur, that's definitely up there. Imagine trying to walk after that! I'm just glad my biggest injury so far is a paper cut.

My son-in-law had a severe car accident and fractured his femur a few years ago. He said it was an unimaginable pain, like nothing he'd ever felt. But with good doctors and physiotherapy, he recovered fully. So yes, it's very painful, but healing is possible. Don't lose hope.

A femur fracture is indeed considered one of the most severe types of bone pain, owing to the size and density of the bone, and the trauma involved. The impact is huge. But the human body is resilient. Focus on proper medical care and rehabilitation. We are here to support you.

Breaking a femur is definitely a top contender for worst pain. It's a major bone and involves significant trauma. I always emphasize strengthening bones and muscles through regular exercise, if doctor allows, to prevent such injuries, especially as we age. But sometimes accidents happen, and then proper medical attention is paramount.

The worst pain? When my alarm goes off after only 4 hours of sleep! But kidding aside, a femur fracture sounds absolutely horrendous. Just the thought of it makes me want to stay in bed all day and avoid any movement. My body already hurts from lack of sleep, can't imagine that!
