What is the root cause of psoriasis?

My cousin has been suffering from psoriasis for years, and it keeps flaring up. We've tried so many treatments, but it always comes back. I just want to understand what actually causes it, to see if there's something we are missing.

Honestly, health issues are so interlinked. I have thyroid and my doc always says keep all your tests updated, sometimes one condition can trigger others or make them worse. Psoriasis, like many autoimmune things, might have deeper connections. Best to get proper diagnosis, don't ignore it.

Psoriasis can be very challenging, I understand. Just remember to keep a positive outlook and take care of your body and mind. Sometimes, stress can really aggravate skin conditions. Focus on good food, gentle activities, and peace within. It will help.

Beta, when I was younger, I saw a relative struggle with this. It's not easy, but please don't lose heart. With proper doctor guidance and taking care of yourself, things do improve. Don't listen to all the home remedies people tell you, stick to what the doctor says.

Mere saath bhi same hua tha, it's actually an autoimmune condition. For me, stress was a huge trigger. Once I started managing stress better and followed my dermatologist's treatment plan, things really improved. Don't delay seeing a good skin specialist!

Hi! Psoriasis is an autoimmune condition, meaning your immune system mistakenly attacks healthy skin cells. It's not just a skin problem; it's a systemic one. There can be genetic factors, environmental triggers like stress or infections, and even certain medications that can cause flare-ups. A dermatologist will help you understand your specific situation.

I'm also worried about psoriasis, heard it's genetic and can be really tough. Does anyone else feel like it's a constant battle with these chronic conditions? It just feels so overwhelming sometimes, no?

Ah, psoriasis. One of those things where your own body decides to throw a party without inviting you and then leaves a mess. Basically, your skin cells are growing too fast. Causes are complex, mostly genetic and immune system related. Doc hi batayega best, yaar.

I know how frustrating and emotionally draining psoriasis can be. It's not just a physical thing; it really affects your confidence and mental well-being. Please remember you're not alone and it's okay to feel down sometimes. Getting proper medical help is the first step towards managing it.

For psoriasis, I've heard many people try natural remedies to soothe the skin, like aloe vera or neem oil. But it's very important to understand the actual cause, which only a doctor can tell you. Please see a dermatologist for proper diagnosis and treatment, it's not something to self-diagnose.

Psoriasis is an autoimmune condition. It means your immune system overreacts and causes rapid skin cell turnover. It's often genetic but environmental factors play a role. See a specialist, they'll guide you best on treatment options.

For psoriasis, sometimes people say certain foods can trigger it, but honestly, it's more about the immune system going haywire. I just try to eat healthy generally, though a good biryani is always tempting! Best to talk to a skin doc, they might tell you if any specific food affects your condition.
