What is the right way to sleep?

I've been having trouble getting a good night's sleep lately, always tossing and turning. Is there a 'right way' to sleep that can help improve sleep quality?

I developed severe cervical issues because I used to stack multiple thick pillows under my head. If you are experiencing regular numbness in your hands or morning neck pain, please get it checked by a doctor instead of trying different tricks.

I agree with sleeping on the side; using a small pillow under your knees while lying on your back also relieves lower spine pressure beautifully.

No need for expensive mattresses. Just use a firm cotton gaddi, keep a single medium-firm pillow that doesn't push your neck too high, and sleep on your left side. It keeps both digestion and spine happy without spending a fortune.

At my age, the right way to sleep is any way that doesn't make my back sound like cracker when I wake up! Seriously, keeping a thin pillow and lying on the side is what keeps me functioning these days.

Beta, over the years I've realized that the right way to sleep is to keep your mind quiet before bedtime. Avoid looking at your phone for an hour, sleep on your left side, and keep your room cool. Your body will naturally find its comfort.
