What is the recommended amount of sleep?

I often feel drowsy during the day, even if I go to bed on time. My friend says I might not be getting enough sleep. What is the generally recommended amount of sleep one should get?

Arre beta, in our time, we used to sleep when the sun set and wake with the sun. Nowadays, you all are on phones all night. For adults, 7-8 hours is usually good. Listen to your body, it tells you what it needs. Don't compromise on rest.

For most adults, the general recommendation is 7 to 9 hours of sleep per night. It's not just about the quantity but also the quality. Try to maintain a regular sleep schedule, even on weekends. That really makes a difference.

Recommended amount of sleep? What's that? 😭 I think I heard somewhere it's 7-9 hours for adults, but my body has a different definition. Currently running on 5 hours and 3 cups of coffee. Send help... or more sleep!

It's so hard to get enough sleep sometimes, and it's easy to feel guilty about it. But please know that needing enough rest is a real biological need, not a luxury. Don't feel bad if you're struggling; many people do. Aim for 7-9 hours, but be kind to yourself.

Ah, sleep. My personal unicorn! They say 7-9 hours for adults. I think I get that across two nights if I'm lucky. 😂 But on a serious note, it's really important for your brain and body to function. Try to prioritise it, unlike me.

I used to think sleep was for the weak, pulling all-nighters. Ended up with severe fatigue and concentration issues. Lack of sleep can seriously affect your health. If you consistently struggle to get enough sleep, it's worth talking to a doctor to rule out any underlying issues.

Acchi neend toh amrit ke samaan hai, beta. 7-8 ghante ki neend toh zaroori hai. Raat ko sone se pehle doodh peena ya thoda garam pani se nahana, aisi choti choti cheezein bhi neend ko behtar banati hain. Shareer ko aaram dena bahut mahatvapurn hai.

As someone managing high BP, I can tell you sleep is not just a luxury, it's critical for health. Doctors always emphasize 7-9 hours for adults to keep BP in check and reduce stress. Get regular checkups, and always discuss your sleep patterns with your doctor if you have issues.

7-9 hours is the standard for adults. Less than that, and your productivity, mood, and health will suffer. Period. Make it a priority.
