What is the primary cause of type i diabetes?

My cousin was recently diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, and we are trying to understand the condition better. What is generally considered the primary cause of Type 1 diabetes? Is it genetic or something else?

Initially, when I heard about diabetes, I panicked a lot. But Type 1 is actually an autoimmune condition where your body attacks itself, not something you get from eating too much sugar. It's different from Type 2. Don't worry, people manage it well.

Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease, meaning the body's immune system attacks the cells that produce insulin. It's not about lifestyle. If you suspect anything, please see a doctor immediately, early diagnosis is key to avoiding complications.

Hello! Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune condition where the body mistakenly destroys the insulin-producing cells in the pancreas. It's not preventable and isn't linked to diet or lifestyle choices, unlike Type 2. It usually appears in childhood or adolescence. Proper medical care is super important.

Listen, Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease. It means your body mistakenly attacks the cells in the pancreas that make insulin. It's not something you can prevent or cause by your diet. It just happens. People who have it need to take insulin. It's manageable, don't worry too much.

Bilkul seedha-saadha answer - Type 1 diabetes happens because your body's immune system attacks the pancreas. Jo insulin banata hai, woh cells khatam ho jaate hain. Bas, it's not from eating too much mithai, it's genetic and autoimmune.

Type 1 is different from what most people think of when they hear diabetes. It's not about diet and exercise primarily, it's autoimmune where the pancreas stops making insulin. Good management through insulin and a healthy lifestyle is still crucial though.

From what I understand by asking my doctor at the hospital, Type 1 diabetes is when your body's own immune system attacks the cells in your pancreas that make insulin. So it's an autoimmune problem, not a lifestyle one. If you have questions, always ask your specialist clearly.
