What is the percentage of smokers that get cancer?

My grandfather has been smoking for many years, and we're trying to convince him to quit. He often dismisses the risks. What is the percentage of smokers that get cancer? Knowing the actual statistics might help.

Namaste. While not every smoker develops cancer, studies show that a very large percentage, like 15-30% or more, of regular smokers will get lung cancer, and it increases risk for many other cancers too. It deeply affects the pranic energy. It's a very harmful habit for the body and mind.

The percentage of smokers who get cancer is quite high, it's a very significant risk factor. As a parent, I always tell my children about the dangers. It's not a guarantee, but the chances increase dramatically. It's a huge concern, really.

Arey bhai, bahut log jo cigarette peete hain unko cancer ho jata hai. Not everyone, but the chances are very, very high. It's very dangerous for your health. Please try to leave it if you smoke, for your family.

Bro, the stats are pretty bad for smokers getting cancer. Like, studies say a significant chunk, sometimes over 20-30% for lung cancer alone, plus other cancers. My uncle used to smoke a lot, and he got really sick. It's a huge risk, man. Not worth it.

The percentage of smokers getting cancer is really alarming, especially lung cancer. I always get so anxious thinking about it. Does anyone else get super worried about the health risks associated with passive smoking too?
