What is the normal range for liver blood tests?

My husband has been feeling a bit unwell, and the doctor ordered some liver blood tests. I'm waiting for the results but want to know what the normal range is for these tests.

I totally get that feeling of looking at lab results and wondering what's 'normal'! For common liver blood tests like ALT and AST, the normal range is usually about 7 to 56 units per liter (U/L). For ALP, it's often 44 to 147 U/L, and bilirubin is usually under 1.2 mg/dL. But remember, these can vary slightly by lab, and your doctor will interpret them in context with your overall health.

Oh, liver blood tests! Another set of numbers to add to our growing list of 'normal' ranges we need to remember. For ALT and AST, it's typically around 7-56 U/L. ALP around 44-147 U/L, and bilirubin below 1.2 mg/dL. If mine are all good, I celebrate with a small treat; if not, I sigh and promise to eat more salad. But seriously, show it to your doc.

For standard liver function tests (LFTs), the key markers and their general normal ranges are: ALT (7-56 U/L), AST (7-56 U/L), ALP (44-147 U/L), and total bilirubin (<1.2 mg/dL). These numbers are guidelines; labs may have slightly different ranges. If yours are outside, it's important to consult a doctor promptly for proper diagnosis and avoid unnecessary stress from self-interpretation.

Haan, liver blood tests mein ALT aur AST dekhte hain. Generally, unka normal range 7 se 56 units/liter hota hai. Bilirubin bhi check karte hain, woh usually 1.2 mg/dL se kam hona chahiye, na. Har lab ka thoda sa different ho sakta hai, toh apne report pe jo range di hai, woh dekho aur doctor se discuss karo, haan.

Liver tests, huh? So, for ALT and AST, usually it's like 7 to 56 units/liter. And bilirubin, that yellow stuff, should be under 1.2 mg/dL. Higher than that, and maybe the liver is complaining about all those yummy fried snacks we indulge in sometimes! Best to show the report to your doc, they know how to handle a moody liver.

The normal range for liver blood tests like ALT and AST is generally around 7 to 56 units per liter. For alkaline phosphatase (ALP), it's about 44 to 147 U/L, and bilirubin is usually less than 1.2 mg/dL. The best practical approach is to always check the 'reference range' printed on your lab report, as it can vary slightly between labs. And, of course, a doctor will interpret it for you.

You'll find dozens of 'normal' ranges for liver blood tests (ALT, AST, ALP, bilirubin) if you search online, typically around 7-56 U/L for ALT/AST. But these are just generic numbers. Every lab has slightly different reference values, and more importantly, your personal health background matters a lot. Don't fall for any internet 'cures' if your levels are off; only a qualified doctor can accurately interpret your results and guide you.
