What is the most common type of cancer?

I was discussing health statistics with a friend, and we started talking about cancer. Does anyone know which type of cancer is the most common one found in people generally?

Hello, this is a very important question. From what I've seen and read, skin cancer, specifically basal cell carcinoma, is often cited as the most common type globally. But it varies a lot with geography and lifestyle, so it's good to be aware.

My doctor once told me that skin cancer is indeed the most common, particularly non-melanoma types like basal cell and squamous cell carcinoma. They're very treatable if caught early, which is why regular skin checks are important, especially if you have risk factors.

It's interesting how many types of cancer there are. Like with my thyroid, you need regular check-ups. For general cancer, I've heard lung and breast cancer are quite prevalent too, but skin cancer is probably top. Always better to get checkups done regularly as advised by your doctor.

For me, managing my BP means regular checkups and a healthy lifestyle. Similarly, for cancer, early detection is key. I believe skin cancer is one of the most common, but honestly, awareness about all types is needed. Don't ignore any new symptoms.

Common toh kaafi saare hain, but I think skin cancer seems to be very prevalent, especially basal cell carcinoma. The good thing is it's often visible and early detection saves a lot of money and trouble down the line. Regular self-checks are important.
