What is the medicine of arthritis?

My mother has been complaining about joint pain for a long time, especially in her knees. The doctor said it looks like arthritis. Can someone tell me what type of medicine is used for this to help with the pain?

I have been dealing with joint pain for the last twelve years now. There is no single magic cure, but doctors usually give painkillers or specific DMARDs depending on the type of arthritis. Don't lose hope, regular mild walks and staying active helps a lot in keeping the stiffness away.

The treatment really depends on whether it is osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis. Only a specialist can give the right medicines like anti-inflammatories. I hope you get some relief from the pain soon.

My knees started clicking last year and I got so anxious reading online about joint damage. Please don't search too much on Google, it will only stress you out. Just go to a rheumatologist and get a proper diagnosis before taking any random pain relievers.

Are you also getting severe morning stiffness in your fingers? I have been experiencing this lately and it is making me super nervous. Has anyone else found relief with specific medications or physiotherapy?

My joints now predict the weather better than the meteorological department! Honestly, don't worry, medical science has advanced a lot. Just visit a doc, get your lube-job done with some proper meds, and you will be back to dancing in no time.

Arre, don't start popping generic painkillers from the local medical store, it will ruin your stomach. Go to a proper orthopedic doctor first. They will do an X-ray, check if it is uric acid or wear-and-tear, and give you the right course.
