What is the manuka honey recipe for diabetes?

My doctor said I have borderline diabetes, and my neighbour, she keeps telling me about Manuka honey. She says it's very good for sugar control. I was wondering if there’s some specific way to use it, like a recipe or something?

I totally get it, you are looking for natural ways to manage sugar levels. But honestly, honey is still sugar and can spike your blood glucose. It is much safer to avoid these recipes and stick to a low-carb diet.

I fell into this trap of searching for honey recipes online to cure my diabetes. When I tested my blood sugar after having it, the readings shot up like crazy. Trust me, there is no honey recipe that is safe for diabetics.

Even though manuka honey has some good qualities, it is still sweet and not recommended for sugar patients. Please take care of your health and focus on bitter gourd juice or simple home foods instead.

I see this question a lot here. While manuka honey has antibacterial properties, it has a high sugar content and is not a treatment for diabetes. Stick to your prescribed medications and consult your dietitian for safe sweetener options.

Hey, don't stress too much about finding exotic recipes! To be honest, manuka honey is still honey, which means it will raise your blood sugar. It's better to stick to simple, unsweetened green tea or warm lemon water instead.

At Kokilaben Hospital, my doctor clearly told me that honey, even organic or manuka, behaves exactly like normal sugar in a diabetic's body. Please ask your endocrinologist clearly before consuming any such home remedy.
