The primary causes of kidney failure in India, as well as globally, are chronic diseases like diabetes and high blood pressure, when they are not managed properly over time. These conditions gradually damage the kidneys, leading to their eventual failure. It's a serious consequence of neglecting these health issues.

My health tracker app also shows that consistently high readings for blood sugar and blood pressure are red flags for long-term kidney damage, eventually leading to failure. So, definitely, diabetes and hypertension are the main culprits. It reminds me to keep active and eat mindfully.

This sounds really serious. So, if someone has diabetes or high BP, they are very likely to get kidney failure? Is there anything else that can cause it too?

Oh, I regret ignoring my high blood pressure for so long. The main causes of kidney failure are usually long-standing, uncontrolled diabetes and high blood pressure. If you have any symptoms or risk factors, please get checked immediately. Don't make my mistake; early detection and management are crucial.

Kidney failure is a devastating diagnosis, and it brings a lot of emotional and physical challenges. For many, including my own family, it's the result of years of battling diabetes or high blood pressure that just couldn't be controlled enough. It truly highlights the importance of managing these chronic conditions right from the start.

My doctor emphasized that the two most prevalent causes of end-stage renal disease (kidney failure) are long-standing, poorly managed diabetes and chronic hypertension. Other less common causes include glomerulonephritis, polycystic kidney disease, and prolonged obstruction of the urinary tract. The key takeaway is consistent management of primary conditions.

I remember panicking when I first read about kidney failure. But it's usually the end stage of other chronic conditions. The most common culprits are diabetes and high blood pressure that haven't been controlled for a long time. So, if you manage those, you're usually safe. No need to panic excessively, just be diligent.

Oh, kidney failure is super serious! It often comes from chronic issues like uncontrolled diabetes or high blood pressure, meaning your body just couldn't handle all those extra sweet treats or salty snacks over time. Everything in moderation, even for your kidneys!
