What is the indentation on the kidney?

I was looking at some diagrams of the kidney in a biology book, and I noticed there's a distinct indentation on one side. I'm curious to know what this part is called and its function. What is the indentation on the kidney?

Hmm, 'indentation' sounds a bit concerning, no? Hope it's nothing serious. If your doctor recommended tests, try to get them done quickly. Sometimes clinics offer packages for blood tests and scans which can be lighter on the pocket. Check with a few places before deciding, savings toh important hai.

Ugh, 'indentation on the kidney' sounds like something my body would do after I pull another all-nighter. Honestly, if it's new or causing discomfort, please get it checked. My kidney probably has an indentation from all the coffee I drink, haha, but seriously, don't ignore it.

Hey, 'indentation' sounds a bit worrying but please don't stress too much until you know for sure what it is! Our bodies are weird sometimes, yaar. Just get it checked by a good doctor, okay? Whatever it is, you'll figure it out. Sending you good vibes!

I once had a small concern with my kidney too, but it turned out to be nothing. Everyone's body is different, so what one person experiences might not be the same for you. The best thing is to consult a doctor who can properly diagnose it. Don't rely on online info for something like this.

Kidney health is so important! While I can't say what an indentation means medically, make sure your diet is balanced. Lots of fresh fruits and veggies, and proper hydration, especially if there's any kidney issue. Avoid too much processed food and salt, that's generally good for kidneys.

Generally, the kidney has a natural concave shape called the hilum, where blood vessels and the ureter enter and exit. If you're referring to something else, perhaps a lesion or scar, that needs proper diagnosis. My doctor once explained this to me, saying any unusual 'indentation' on a scan should always be followed up with further investigation.

Yo, 'indentation' sounds kinda intense. Hope you're alright! If it's bothering you, definitely get it checked out by a doc. Don't google it too much, bro, you'll just end up scaring yourself silly, trust me on that one.
