What is the healthiest side to sleep on?

I often wake up with a stiff neck or shoulder pain. My friend suggested it might be how I sleep. Which side is actually the healthiest to sleep on to avoid these issues?

I used to have a lot of back problems. My grandmother suggested sleeping on the left side, especially after eating. It's supposed to help digestion. I also found putting a pillow between my knees makes a big difference for hip alignment. Try it, it might help you too.

As someone with thyroid issues, I've heard some advice about sleeping on the left side to help lymph drainage. I'm not sure how scientifically proven it is, but it felt good to me. Regular checkups for your thyroid are important, no matter how you sleep, to ensure everything is balanced.

I used to panic about which side was 'best' for sleeping, thinking I was doing it wrong. Turns out, sleeping on your left side is generally recommended for digestion and circulation. But honestly, if you're comfortable on your right side and not having issues, it's probably fine too. Don't overthink it.

Many people say the left side is good for digestion and even during pregnancy. Using a firm pillow between your knees can also really help align your spine if you're a side sleeper. If you're experiencing chronic pain or discomfort, though, it's best to consult a doctor.

Hey! Don't stress too much about it. Most doctors say sleeping on your side, especially the left side, is good for digestion and can even help with snoring. Just make sure you have a good pillow that supports your head and neck, and maybe one between your knees for your back. Be comfortable, ya!

For my daughter who has acid reflux, her pediatrician recommended sleeping on her left side. It seems to help keep stomach acids down. We also elevate her head slightly. For general comfort, a body pillow works wonders for side sleepers to keep the spine straight.
