What is the glucose level for type 2 diabetes?

My sugar levels have been a bit high lately, and the doctor said I might be at risk for type 2 diabetes. What is considered a normal or concerning glucose level for type 2 diabetes? I want to know what numbers to look out for.

For type 2 diabetes, the fasting glucose level is usually 126 mg/dL or higher. And the HbA1c, which is a three-month average, is 6.5% or more. My uncle has it, so I kinda know these numbers. But honestly, a doctor's diagnosis is the real deal.

Ah, glucose levels! My doctor gives me a whole lecture every time. For Type 2, fasting should be under 126, and two hours after eating, ideally under 200. Otherwise, it's a constant battle with sweets. I wish my sweet tooth understood these numbers better, haan.

Beta, when I was diagnosed many years ago, the doctors explained it well. For Type 2 diabetes, a fasting blood sugar of 126 mg/dL or higher is usually the marker. Also, the post-meal numbers are important. Don't worry, with proper diet and medicines, it can be managed well.

If you're looking at glucose levels for Type 2, fasting levels above 126 mg/dL are usually indicative. But remember, managing it involves a lot more than just numbers. Regular exercise, like walking for 45 mins daily, and a disciplined diet are crucial, if your doctor has cleared you for it.

Yaar, actually, for Type 2 diabetes, a fasting glucose of 126 mg/dL (7.0 mmol/L) or more is considered diabetic. And the HbA1c test, which checks your average blood sugar, should ideally be below 6.5%. But better to ask your doc, they'll give you exact targets, na?

As someone who regularly monitors my thyroid, I know how important these numbers are. For Type 2 diabetes, a fasting glucose of 126 mg/dL or more, or an HbA1c of 6.5% or higher, usually points to it. Please ensure you get regular check-ups and follow your doctor's recommendations diligently.

Haan ji, Type 2 diabetes ke liye, fasting glucose 126 mg/dL se upar ho toh, that's generally considered diabetic. Aur post-meal ka bhi dekhte hain. Lekin apna doctor hi best batayega, na. Khud se assumptions mat karna.

Getting these tests done regularly can be a bit costly, but it's essential for managing diabetes. For Type 2, doctors usually look for a fasting blood sugar of 126 mg/dL or higher. It's important to monitor it well to avoid future expenses on complications.
