What is the gland on top of the kidney?

My son was asking me about the human body for his science project, and he asked me about the gland on top of the kidney. I'm not sure what it's called. Can someone help me out with this?

Oh, that's the adrenal gland, dear one. In yoga, we focus on balancing our energies. These glands are very important for managing stress and energy. Gentle breathing and mindful movement can help support their function.

Haan, kidney ke upar wale gland ko adrenal gland bolte hain, ho na? They produce hormones which are very important for our body. Bahut chote hote hain par kaam bahut karte hain.

Just like thyroid, our body has many glands. The one on top of the kidney is the adrenal gland. If you're asking, maybe get a general checkup? Sometimes issues with one gland can affect others. Regular tests and doctor follow-ups are key to staying healthy.
