What is the formula for stroke volume?

I'm a medical student, and I'm revising for my physiology exam. I'm a bit stuck on the cardiovascular system. Can someone remind me of the formula for calculating stroke volume? I keep confusing it with cardiac output.

Hey, don't worry too much about complex medical formulas unless you're a doctor. But simply put, stroke volume is how much blood your heart pumps out in one beat. It's usually calculated by subtracting the blood left in your heart after a beat (end-systolic volume) from the amount it had before a beat (end-diastolic volume). Just remember, a healthy heart is a happy heart!

I can't tell you the formula, but if you're asking about stroke volume because of a heart concern, please get it checked. I once ignored some heart-related symptoms and regretted it deeply. Early diagnosis and consulting a cardiologist are crucial for your well-being, don't just rely on general info.

With PCOS, I've learned that health is interconnected, but specific formulas like this are best explained by medical professionals. Stroke volume is the amount of blood ejected by the heart's ventricle in one beat. If you're asking because of a health issue, please consult a cardiologist; don't try to self-diagnose using formulas.

Beta, these medical terms are complex for us. But from what I have heard, stroke volume is about how much blood comes out of the heart with each beat. For a strong heart, we always say eat simple food, walk a lot, and keep your mind calm. But for exact formulas or serious questions, only a good doctor can tell you correctly. Don't rely on mere sayings.

I totally get wanting to understand how the body works! Stroke volume is basically the amount of blood your heart pushes out with each beat. The basic formula is End-Diastolic Volume minus End-Systolic Volume. It sounds complicated, but it's just measuring how much blood goes in vs. how much stays behind. Hope that helps clarify a little!

I can't give medical formulas, but if you're dealing with anything related to heart function, please be extremely cautious. My relative had complications because he tried to understand things himself online instead of seeing a doctor. For serious medical terms and measurements, a doctor is the only reliable source.
