What is the first sign of kidney failure?

My brother's friend just got diagnosed with kidney failure, and it was a shock. I want to be more informed about kidney health. What would be the very first symptom or indicator that someone's kidneys are starting to fail?

For serious issues like kidney failure, it's not about exercise first, it's about diagnosis. But many people report feeling constantly tired and having swollen feet or ankles. If a doctor confirms it's okay, gentle walks can help with general well-being, but first, get checked.

Please, please don't ignore symptoms like I did with something else. For kidney failure, feeling extremely tired, swelling in legs/feet, and changes in how often you pee are big signs. Go see a doctor immediately, early detection is key.

As a parent, I've learned to be very observant. With kidney issues, sometimes kids (and adults) feel very tired for no reason, or their ankles and face get puffy. Also, watch for changes in urine. It's really important to talk to a good doctor quickly if you see these signs.

From what I understand, early signs of kidney failure can be subtle. Things like fatigue, swelling in the legs, changes in urination frequency, or even persistent nausea. Self-diagnosis isn't advisable; always get a proper medical consultation and follow the doctor's recommendations for any symptoms.

It can be worrying to think about. Many people first notice feeling very tired or seeing swelling in their feet. Hope you are okay. It's best to consult a doctor.

Having thyroid issues means I get regular tests, and I'd suggest the same for anything kidney-related. Common early signs can be feeling very tired and changes in how much you pee. Definitely don't delay talking to your doctor and getting proper blood and urine tests.

With my PCOS, I've learned that symptoms can be tricky and overlap. For kidney failure, general weakness, extreme tiredness, or swelling, especially in feet and ankles, are often mentioned as early signs. Don't try to guess, please speak to a doctor who can properly assess.
