What is the fastest way to cure fever and chills?

My little one caught a fever yesterday, and today she also has chills. I'm worried about her and want to help her feel better as quickly as possible. What's the quickest way to get rid of fever and chills?

For quick relief from fever and chills, a paracetamol is usually the fastest way to bring down temperature. Along with that, rest, staying hydrated with ORS or coconut water, and light clothing really help. But if it persists or is very high, see a doctor, don't wait.

Resting well and drinking plenty of fluids like warm water or clear soup helps a lot. A light blanket can ease the chills. If the fever is high, please do consult a doctor.

Oh, I just recovered from this last week! For me, a lukewarm sponge bath helped a lot with the fever, and I took paracetamol as advised by my doctor. For chills, wrapping myself in a light sheet (not too heavy!) and sipping on hot ginger tea worked wonders. Hydration is key!

Ghar pe toh hum log pehle toh garam paani ka patti sir pe rakhte hain. Aur ek plain paracetamol le lete hain for relief. Sabse zaroori hai aaraam karna aur dahi-chawal jaisa halka khana khana. Agar do din mein theek na ho toh doctor ke paas jaana hi padta hai.

Please, if you have fever and chills, especially if it's high or lasts more than a day or two, go to a doctor. I ignored my fever once, thinking it was just a normal cold, and it turned out to be dengue. It got serious. Self-medicating without knowing the cause can be dangerous. Get a proper diagnosis.
