What is the difference between angina heart attack and stroke?

My father has a history of heart issues. I often hear terms like angina, heart attack, and stroke. Can someone explain the differences between angina, a heart attack, and a stroke clearly?

This stuff is so scary to read about, but basically angina and heart attack are about the heart, while a stroke happens in the brain. Angina is temporary pain, a heart attack is blocked flow to the heart, and a stroke is when blood flow to the brain gets cut off. If you or anyone has sudden face drooping or speech issues, please rush to the hospital immediately.

I once ignored mild chest pressure thinking it was acidity, and it turned out to be angina that almost led to a heart attack. A heart attack damages your heart muscle, while a stroke affects your brain, causing sudden numbness or balance loss. Please do not wait like I did. Go to a cardiologist and get your tests done right away.

Let me break it down simply. Angina is chest pain that comes with exertion and goes with rest. A heart attack is a permanent block in the heart blood vessels, causing severe chest pain. A stroke is a brain attack, where blood flow to the brain is blocked, causing weakness on one side of the body. All need proper medical evaluation, so don't take them lightly.

It can be very confusing to understand all these terms. Just remember that angina and heart attacks affect your chest and breathing, while a stroke affects your brain, speech, and body movement. Wishing you good health, please consult a professional doctor for a proper checkup.

Managing my thyroid has taught me that all these cardiovascular issues are connected to metabolic health. Angina is temporary heart pain, a heart attack is a major heart block, and a stroke is a blockage in the brain's blood vessels. I highly recommend getting regular lipid profiles and BP checks done to catch any risks early.

Think of it this way—angina is your heart knocking on the door saying 'go easy on the samosas', a heart attack is the door breaking down, and a stroke is a power cut in your brain's main office. Joking aside, any of these symptoms like sudden chest pain or numbness on one side are major red flags. Skip the internet searches and go see a doctor!

I know how terrifying it is to read about heart attacks and strokes, my heart starts racing just thinking about it. Angina is temporary tightness from reduced blood flow, a heart attack is a complete block in the heart, and a stroke is when the brain's blood supply is hit. Talk to a doctor to clear your mind, it really helps to calm the anxiety.

I totally get it, trying to understand these medical terms can be so stressful when you are worried about your health. Angina is the warning sign, a heart attack is the actual crisis in the heart, and a stroke is when the brain gets affected instead of the heart. Please take a deep breath and let a qualified doctor do the proper scans and tests.
