What is the definition of chronic pain?

Been having this nagging back pain for months now, which my doctor called 'chronic'. I don't fully understand what chronic pain means compared to normal pain. Is it something different altogether?

Chronic pain is pain that lasts for more than 3 to 6 months, even after the initial injury or illness has healed. It can be debilitating. I've seen people suffer for years because they didn't get proper diagnosis early on. It's not something to just 'live with'; please consult a pain specialist to manage it effectively.

Chronic pain म्हणजे असा दुखणं, जे खूप काळ टिकतं, ho na? 3-6 mahine se zyada agar koi dard rehta hai, toh usko chronic pain bolte hain. Sometimes it's from an old injury, or sometimes doctors can't even find a reason. Bahut mushkil hota hai jeena aise dard ke saath.

Chronic pain is basically any pain that lasts a long time, usually over three months. It's not just physical, it affects your mood, sleep, everything. My friend has it, and it's tough; she has to manage it every day. It's important to find a good doctor who takes it seriously and explores different ways to cope.

Chronic pain is a persistent discomfort that stays with you, sometimes for years. It reminds us of the delicate balance of our body and mind. While medical advice is paramount, remember to also nurture your inner peace. Staying positive and finding strength within can help you cope with the challenges. Take care of yourself.

Chronic pain? That's when the pain decides to move in, unpack its bags, and live in your body rent-free for months or even years. Like a really annoying roommate you can't get rid of. It definitely messes with my sleep, making me even more sleep-deprived. It's no joke, get it checked out seriously.
