What is the cause of asthma disease?

My son has been having breathing issues, especially at night, and his pediatrician said it could be asthma. I'm worried and want to know what exactly causes this condition. Is it something he will have his whole life?

Asthma is a chronic condition where your airways get inflamed and narrow, making it hard to breathe. It's often triggered by things like allergens, pollution, or even stress. While some simple breathing exercises can help manage symptoms, it's a serious condition that needs a doctor's diagnosis and ongoing medical management. Natural remedies are for support, not a cure.

Asthma is primarily caused by inflammation and narrowing of the airways, often triggered by allergens, exercise, or irritants like smoke. It's a complex condition. While it's not a fitness issue directly, if your doctor clears it, controlled exercise like brisk walking or swimming can sometimes strengthen lung capacity and help manage symptoms. But always under medical guidance.

My doctor explained that asthma is a chronic respiratory condition characterized by inflammation and narrowing of the airways. Its exact cause isn't fully understood, but it's believed to be a combination of genetic predisposition and environmental factors. Triggers can include allergens (like pollen, dust mites), respiratory infections, air pollution, and even exercise or stress. It's not a single cause, but a complex interplay.
