What is the blood test for prostate cancer?

I'm over 60 now, and my friends often talk about prostate health. My doctor mentioned something about a screening test for prostate cancer. What is that blood test called?

For prostate health, doctors always recommend the PSA blood test first. Along with regular medical checkups, practicing gentle yogasanas like Vajrasana can keep the pelvic area healthy, but please remember that yoga cannot replace proper clinical diagnostic tests. Do consult your doctor regularly.

Don't fall for online herbal supplements claiming to cure prostate issues or lower your levels. The standard screening blood test is called PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen). Go to a proper urologist and let them interpret the results, as elevated PSA doesn't always mean cancer.

Please do not ignore any urinary issues or delay getting tested. I ignored mild symptoms for over a year thinking it was just old age, which made my treatment much more difficult later. Go get the PSA blood test done immediately if recommended by your physician.

My father had to get the PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen) test done last year when he had some bladder issues. It's just a routine blood test and nothing to be scared of. It's always best to get it checked early so the doctor can advise the right steps.

Hey there! The primary blood test is the PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen) test. If your father or any elderly male at home is having difficulty or pain while urinating, please take them to a doctor. It is a very simple blood draw and highly recommended for men above 50.

It is called the PSA test. Please don't worry too much, just visit a local clinic and ask the doctor for a routine prostate checkup. They will guide you gently through the process.
