What is the best sleeping position for lower back pain?

I often wake up with lower back pain, and I suspect it's due to how I sleep. I try to change positions, but nothing seems to help consistently. What's generally considered the best sleeping position for relieving lower back pain?

Namaste. For lower back pain, try sleeping on your side with a pillow between your knees. This helps keep your hips and spine aligned. Also, sometimes a small rolled towel under your lower back if sleeping on your back can provide gentle support. It's about finding what brings comfort and alignment to your spine.

Oh, back pain is tough. My doctor always emphasizes good sleep posture. While it doesn't directly relate to diabetes, a comfortable night's sleep helps manage stress, which in turn helps blood sugar. Side sleeping with a pillow between knees is often suggested to take pressure off the lower back.

Lower back pain can be so debilitating, I really get it. It affects everything, even your mood. Finding the right sleeping position makes such a difference. Don't feel bad if it takes a while to figure out what works for you, just keep experimenting gently with pillows and support.

Dude, back pain sucks. I used to sleep on my stomach, which made it worse. Now I try to sleep on my side with a pillow between my legs, or sometimes on my back with a pillow under my knees. It helps a lot, gives some relief. Try these, might work for u.

Oh god, back pain! I always worry about damaging my spine more. I've read so much about this. They say side sleeping with a pillow between your knees is best, or on your back with a small pillow under your lower back and another under your knees. Just make sure your head pillow isn't too high either. Hope you find some relief soon!

My fitness tracker has a sleep analysis feature, and it shows how much I toss and turn. For lower back pain, experts usually recommend sleeping on your back with a pillow under your knees, or on your side with a pillow between your knees. This keeps your spine neutral. Avoid stomach sleeping if you can!
