What is the best pain reliever for kidney stones?

My friend had a kidney stone recently and was in excruciating pain. She asked me if I knew about anything that would work quickly if it ever happened again. What is typically considered the best pain reliever for kidney stone attacks?

Kidney stones? That's not pain, that's your body trying to evict something unwelcome with extreme prejudice! Honestly, for that kind of 'eviction notice' pain, the best reliever is whatever the ER doctor gives you. You'll be begging for it, trust me. Just get to a hospital, no home remedies will cut it.

Oh my god, kidney stone pain is just unimaginable, I totally get why you're looking for the best relief! From what I've heard, over-the-counter pills just scratch the surface. You really need strong, prescribed painkillers from a doctor, sometimes even IVs in the hospital. Please go get checked out, don't suffer through it!

Kidney stones? Ugh, that sounds like it would ruin even biryani night! 😫 For that kind of pain, forget about delicious food, you'll need whatever strong stuff the doc gives you. Hydration is key to prevent them, so maybe swap some of those sugary drinks for good old water. But for the pain itself, only medical pros can help.

Beti, kidney stones are very painful. While drinking lots of water and some traditional decoctions (like kulthi dal water) are advised for prevention and helping small stones pass, for the actual severe pain, you must go to a hospital. They will give proper medicine. Don't delay.
