What is the best pain medication for psoriatic arthritis?

I have psoriatic arthritis, and the joint pain and swelling can be really debilitating sometimes. My current medication helps with the psoriasis, but the joint pain is still an issue. What is generally considered the best pain medication for psoriatic arthritis?

Hey, I have psoriatic arthritis too, it's really tough. I've found that what works for one person might not work for another. My doctor tried a few different things before we found something that suited me. Best to talk to your own doctor about options.

Beta, for these kinds of pains, it's always good to consult a doctor properly. But sometimes, ghar pe warm compresses or some Ayurvedic oils massaged gently can give a little relief. Always check with your vaidya or doctor first though, for such a specific condition.

Oh, psoriatic arthritis sounds really difficult to manage. I'm so sorry you're going through this. I don't know much about it, but is it like, specific meds are prescribed or is it more general pain relief? Hope you find something that helps soon.

Haan, psoriatic arthritis is no joke. My bua has it, and she tried so many things. Finally, doc ne jo recommend kiya, wahi kaam aaya. Na, koi normal painkiller se theek nahi hota. Go to a good specialist only, please.

For psoriatic arthritis, you need a specialist, usually a rheumatologist. They will assess your specific case and recommend biologicals or other DMARDS, not just pain meds. It's a long-term management plan, so find a good doctor and stick with their treatment plan. No shortcuts here.

This is a serious condition, you shouldn't rely on online advice for medication. Psoriatic arthritis needs proper medical supervision. Please, go and get a thorough check-up and a proper prescription from a rheumatologist. Don't self-medicate at all.

Dude, for something like psoriatic arthritis, you can't just take any painkiller. My uncle has it and he needs proper strong meds prescribed by his doc. It's not like a normal headache. Go see a specialist, man.

My wife's friend has this. She goes to Apollo and they put her on a combination of medicines including some biologics. Pain medication is usually just for symptoms, not to treat the underlying condition. You need to ask your doctor very clearly about the best treatment strategy for you.
