What is the best pain medication?

After long hours at my desk job, I often get headaches or muscle pain in my neck and shoulders. I just take a paracetamol usually. Just wondering if there's any other 'best' pain medication out there for general relief?

Please be very careful when asking about the 'best' pain medication. I once had complications from taking something a friend recommended. Pain can be a symptom of many things, so it's always safest to consult a doctor. They can find the root cause and prescribe the right and safe medicine.

I recently recovered from a really bad backache and was also looking for the 'best' painkiller. Turns out, what worked for me was a combination of specific medication prescribed by my doctor, along with physical therapy. Generic pain relievers just weren't enough. So definitely see a doctor!

There's no universal 'best' pain medication, it completely depends on the type, severity, and cause of your pain. For mild, temporary pain, a paracetamol or ibuprofen might work. But for anything chronic or severe, or if you don't know the cause, you absolutely need to see a doctor. Self-medicating with strong painkillers is risky business.

This question makes me anxious because there are so many types of pain and so many medicines, and what if I pick the wrong one? It's really scary to think about side effects. My advice is, don't overthink it like me; just go straight to a doctor. They can clarify everything and help ease your worries.

Beta, hamare zamane mein toh haldi doodh aur garam paani ka seekh se hi dard theek hota tha. Aajkal ki dawaaiyan bahut tez hoti hain. Par agar dard zyada hai toh doctor se poochhe bina kuch mat lena. Woh hi bata payenge tumhare liye kya sahi hai, dhyan rakhna.

Oh, pain can be truly debilitating, I completely get wanting the best relief. I've tried so many home remedies myself, from balms to hot compresses, and while they can offer some comfort for mild aches, for anything significant, they just aren't enough. It's always best to see a doctor for a proper diagnosis and effective medicine.
