My doctor at CMC Vellore always says for back pain, specific recommendations are best. A mattress topper might help, but ask your orthopedic doc if memory foam, latex, or gel-infused is better for *your* specific back issue. Don't just pick one blindly.

Back pain can be so debilitating, I totally get the struggle to find comfort. A good mattress topper can make a huge difference emotionally, knowing you'll get some relief. Memory foam ones usually contour to your body and ease pressure points, which helps a lot.

Yo, my hostel mattress was killing my back! I got a basic memory foam topper online, not super expensive, but it helped a lot. It's not a magic fix but definitely made sleeping less painful. Just make sure it's thick enough, like 2-3 inches.

If your mattress is still somewhat good, a topper is a cost-effective solution. For back pain, a memory foam topper around 2-4 inches thick, with medium density, is usually practical. It provides cushion without being too soft. Just ensure your underlying mattress isn't too saggy already.

Be careful with these mattress toppers. Some claim to cure everything but are just expensive foam. Don't trust random reviews. If you have serious back pain, please consult a physiotherapist or orthopedic doctor first. They can guide you better than a sales pitch on Amazon.
