What is the best drink for kidney stones?

I just passed a kidney stone, and the doctor told me to drink plenty of fluids to prevent more. I want to know if there's any specific drink that is best for preventing kidney stones.

Kidney stones sound so painful, I get anxious just thinking about them! Has anyone here actually passed one, and what did you drink to help? Is lemon water really effective, or is it just a myth?

While I deal with thyroid, I know kidney stones are serious. Drinking lots of water is crucial. My doctor always says consistent hydration is key for anything related to kidneys. Also, follow up with your doctor, they might suggest specific drinks based on stone type.

The best drink for kidney stones? Whatever makes you pee buckets! 😂 Seriously though, tons of water, like your life depends on it. And lemon water is good too, turns out lemons aren't just for cocktails, they're for health too!

Dude, for kidney stones, it's gotta be water. Like, seriously, chug water all day. My friend had them, and his doctor literally told him to carry a water bottle everywhere and keep refilling. Lemon water also helps apparently.

My health app reminds me to drink water constantly, and for kidney stones, that's literally the best advice. Aim for at least 3-4 liters a day. Also, cranberry juice, but unsweetened, can sometimes help prevent UTIs which can be linked to stones.

Kidney stones? Ah, the joy! Best drink is definitely water, and lots of it. So much that you feel like a walking water balloon. And then more water. My doctor also suggested barley water sometimes, but mostly just plain water. No fun, but effective!

Listen, for kidney stones, hydration is paramount. Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Lemon juice, diluted in water, can also be beneficial as the citrate helps prevent stone formation. But please, consult a urologist; they will give you the best specific advice for your condition.

As a foodie, I usually think of drinks for taste, but for kidney stones, it's strictly functional! Plain water is the hero. Though a nice sugarcane juice (freshly squeezed, no ice) feels good for general health, for stones, better stick to water and lemon.

Lots and lots of water, friend! 💦 And nimbu pani (lemon water) without sugar is amazing! My nani swears by it for everything. Stay hydrated and happy! 😊

Ho na, kidney stones are very painful. My neighbour had them. She said lots of pani is key. And nimbu pani without sugar. That really helps to flush things out, I think. But best to ask doc also, haan.
